Coronavirus Response Act for Families First

This measure would give healthcare workers paid sick leave and free coronavirus testing, as well as expand food assistance and unemployment benefits. It would also demand extra protections for healthcare workers. It has passed both the House and the Senate and is now awaiting signature by the president. Paid sick leave legislation already exist in several states, cities, and counties.

In addition, Amazon is hiring 100,000 new full-time and part-time fulfilment centre and delivery roles across the United States. Regular compensation, which must be at least $15 per hour, will be increased by $2 per hour.

Minimum requirements include being diagnosed with COVID-19 or being placed under quarantine by a public health body; being active on the DoorDash platform for at least 60 days; and having performed at least 30 deliveries in the previous 30 days.

Financial support for up to 14 days based on average daily earnings over the previous six months.

Minimum requirements: Uber driver or delivery person who has made a journey on the Uber platform in the 30 days prior to March 6, 2020; COVID-19 positive or physically quarantined by a public health authority.

USBG National Charity Foundation

Bartender Emergency Assistance Program is the name of the programme.
